How to use this product
Remeron tablets, 30mg, can be broken up but not recommended to chew as they have a rather bad taste.
Remnon tablets can be taken with or without food, but it is advisable to take it just before bedtime. Often you will be feeling better in 1 to 4 weeks, but still continue to take the medication as the doctor prescribe as regularly dosage is vital for the drug to work correctly.
If you have forgotten to take your medication one day, only take the forgotten dose if you remember within a few hours or else, skip the dose. Do not try to "catch up" by doubling the dose.
Side effects
The common (higher than 1%) side effect may consist of
Abnormal dreams and thinking, constipation, dizziness, dry mouth, "flu-like" symptoms, increased appetite, sleepiness, weakness, weight gain.
Precautions
This drug should be used with caution if you have heart or blood pressure problems or active liver kidney or disease. Make sure to inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, mania (extremely high spirits), hypomania (mild excitability), drug use, or some other physical or emotional problems.
Drug Interactions
Remeron may reduce the effectiveness of other medication.
