Norlevo is a day-after pill, which should be used only as an emergency after having unprotected sex. It contains levonorgestrel, which is a hormn alsom found in many birth-control pills. The best effect from Norlevo will be if taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex, and not later than 72 hours. The risk of pregnancy if the pill is taken within 24 hours is 0,4%
How to use this product
Always take 2 pills of Norlevo together, as soon as possible after having unprotected sex, and no later than after 72 hours.
Side effects
Possible side effects are: Headache, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, breast tenderness and irregular bleedings.
Precautions
Norlevo should not be taken twice in the same menstruation cycle.
Drug Interactions
The effect of Norlevo may be decreased if the following medications are used at the same time: certain tuberculosis medications, HIV-medications and epilepsy medications.
