Nicorette gum helps you quit smoking by gradually weaning your body off nicotine. The effects of Nicorette can not be compared to cigarettes, and the stimulant comes slower than with cigarettes. Nicotine has a peculiar taste, so might need some days to turn round the taste. Nicorette is used to stop the coverage of nicotine.
How to use this product
You can use Nicorette chew gum as a stand alone product, or you can use the 2 mg. chew gum, together with the plaster. Normal dosage of Nicorette chew gums is 8 - 12 chew gums pr. day. You should not use Nicorette consecutive more than one year.
The plaster should be used for 16 hours at a time, either alone - or together with the 2 mg. chew gums.
Side effects
The chew gum can give the same side effects as cigarettes, but not so intense. Generally side effects are; irritation in oral cavity and gullet, soreness in jaw, hiccups and stomach pain. The side effects can be reduced by masticate the gum correctly.
Precautions
Don't use Nicorette Chew gum if you have any serious heart problems, gastric ulcer, diabetes, reduced liver- or kidney functions. Symptoms of overdose are wanness, sweating, nausea, dizziness, diarrhoea and headache. Stop using Nicorette chew gums if you experience such symptoms.
