| How to use this product |
| Clean the skin with soapy water before using the cream. Apply a thick layer of Emla onto the area to be treated, two hours before the procedure. Cover the area with plastic for the cream to stay in position. |
| Side effects |
| Some mild side effects can occur, but usually diappear within 1 or 2 hours. These are: skin paleness, redness, a changed ability to feel hot or cold, itching and rash. |
| Precautions |
| Do not use Emla if you are allergic to lidocaine or other ingredients in this product. |
| Drug Interactions |
| The effect of Emla can be reduced if simultaneously using other medication. |
